Here at Wind Song Siberians, we strive to breed healthy siberian huskies, that fit the breed standard according to the AKC. All of our dogs are shown in conformation, or worked in harness. Our huskies are our cherished pets first and show dogs second.

All of our dogs here at Wind Song are registered with both the UKC, and the AKC. We offer a genetic health guarantee on all of our puppies. All of our puppies are raised with puppy culture, and all the age appropriate socialization to help the puppies mature into well rounded adults.

Huskies are wonderful companions! they love to be apart of the family, and its never a dull moment with these goofy, carefree, pups around, but this breed is not for everyone. Huskies require lots of training experience, as well as lots of good outlets for all their energy. Huskies can be destructive if not given enough exercise, which can lead to an unhappy dog, and an unhappy owner. So if you are interested in bringing one of these majestic animals into your home please, do your research on the breed, and make sure they are a good fit for you, and your family.

Do all huskies have blue eyes?

No, although all puppies are born with blue eyes, they may start to change around 4 weeks of age. Huskies can have a variety of eye colors including blue, green, gold, and brown.

Can huskies be trained to be off leash?

With an experienced trainer some huskies can be, but to keep your husky safe it is always best to keep your husky on a leash at all times outside, unless in a fenced area.

Can huskies live peacefully in a home with cats?

Yes. Huskies have a high prey drive and will attack small animals if they were not socialized with them from a young age. Many huskies have gone to homes with cats or other small animals as puppies, and with the proper training, lived very happily with their fellow small animal companions. I would never suggest bringing a small animal into a home with an adult husky that has not been properly socialized from a young age.
